AMERICAN CITIZEN SERVICES
Welcome to the Consular Section in Dakar, Senegal
The Consular Section is located in the U.S. Embassy on the corner of Avenue Jean XXII and Kleber streets in downtown Dakar.
The Consular Section provides routine American Citizen Services on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
American Citizens who need emergency services are welcome to come during normal U.S. Embassy hours which are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
When you arrive at the Embassy, please inform one of the guards that you are an American citizen and go directly to the Consular Receptionist window.
The Consular Section is closed on American and Senegalese holidays.
