United States Peace Corps Signs Partnership with Thiès Chambers of Commerce and Trade (Dpt of State)

On Tuesday, November 29, 2011, the U.S. Peace Corps signed a partnership agreement with the Thiès Chambers of Commerce, and Boards of Trade, Agriculture, and Industry.  The signing ceremony was lead by Chris Hedrick, Peace Corps Country Director, and Mr. Modou Diop, President of the Thiès Board of Trade.
 
Peace Corps volunteers are committed to putting their know-how to the service of artisans and businesspeople in the region by offering them support and working alongside them to boost the region’s development.  They will make a particular effort to improve the directory of services for all registered tradespeople in the Thiès region, as well as improving the region’s web presence.
