The U.S. Signs Agreements worth 48 million US dollars

On September 21, Mr. Abdoulaye Diop, Minister of State/Minister of Economy and Finance and Mr. Kevin Mullally, Director of USAID/Senegal signed assistance agreements for the year 2007.  This assistance, which amounts to 23 billion FCFA or nearly 48 million US dollars, will fund a wide variety of USAID/Senegal programs including economic growth, health, education and the promotion of peace in the Casamance region.
