Business Facilitation Program

A U.S. consular officer must interview most applicants applying for a non-immigrant visa to the United States. Normally, all applicants for non-immigrant visas must schedule an interview appointment via must call the U.S. Visa Information Service.

The U.S. Embassy in Dakar will accept visa applications directly from the following individuals:

  • Employees of previously approved American owned companies who need to travel urgently to the United States on company related official travel. 
  • APEC Business Travel Card (ABTC) holder.  Applicants must present their original card to be eligible.

U.S. companies who would like to take register for this program must complete a registration form and submit it to the Consular Section for review and approval. 

Applicants may submit completed visa applications at the U.S. Consular Section in Dakar without scheduling an interview through the U.S. Visa Information Service only on Monday through Thursdays from 14:00 to 16:00.

All applications submitted under this policy must be the Electronic Visa Application Form (EVAF) version of the DS-156.  Forms DS-156 completed by hand will no longer be accepted.
